Booking Terms and Conditions for Tour and Service Reservations Italy

• Tour and service requests will not be accepted unless you agree to the terms and conditions via the fax form or the Secure Payment Gateway.
• We may request a bank transfer for payments over 1000 euro.
• A full refund is made or your credit card is not debited if the tour or service is not available on the dates you request
•  We will do our best to confirm via email with the email address contact you provide however we do not take responsibility for non receipt of emails. You must phone our company main office to confirm in a timely way if you have not received an email confirmation five days before your tour date. 
• Note any extra terms or conditions that may appear with the tour or product descriptions, i.e. no child seats provided in tours requiring transport

 Cancellation Terms and Conditions

If you cancel any reservations The Original and Best Walking Tours and Artviva will apply the following cancellation fees:

Public and Prestigious Tours and Services

·          More than 15 days : Service booking fee charged of 30 Euro

·          From 14 to 7 days: 50% of the tour price

·          Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% of the tour price

Private Tours and Services
·          More than 28 days : a booking fee of 100 euro will be charged
·          From 28 to 14 days: 50% of the tour price

·          Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% of the tour price
Custom Tour and Service Fees with Extensive Planning
Flat fee of 300 Euro will be charged
Date Changes

Tours can not be transferred or dates changed 
Our General Conditions

The Original and Best Walking Tours is a fully licensed Tour Operator based in Florence Italy, no . 516411.The Original and Best Walking Tours is not liable in respect of personal injury, loss or damage of luggage by the client, or of death. The company is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay, inconvenience caused by force majeure or other events such as strikes which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable care by The Original and Best Walking Tours, such as wars, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of god, etc. 

Our Responsibility

The Original and Best Walking Tours agrees to provide services on the understanding that you and the persons you reserve for are  fit and healthy and accept that in any tour or service some risk is involved. When you book a tour or other service with us you acknowledge our  acceptance, that  Artviva and The Original and Best Walking Tours , its agents and suppliers, in making arrangements for hotels, tours, transportation or any service in connection with the itineraries of individual tour members shall not be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act of default by any hotel, carrier or other company or person providing services included in the tours and transfers or museum or theatre bookings. Artviva and The Original and Best Walking Tours, its agents and suppliers accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery breakdown, government restrains, acts of war and terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control. Artviva and The Original and Best Walking Tours  reserves the right to cancel, change or substitute any service and to decline to accept or retain any tour members at any time for any reason including, without limitation, insufficient number of participants. All travel documents/vouchers are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by Artviva and The Original and Best Walking Tours , its agents and suppliers.

Cancellation by  The Original and Best Walking Tours

 We reserve the right to cancel or change any tours without any penalty in case of circumstances beyond our control or for any other reason and when the minimum number of participants, specified in the tour program is not reached, or if the tour is not available on the dates requested. In this case the client will be fully reimbursed for the cost of the services paid. In the unlikehood of change, we will endeavor to inform you before hand in this case of any necessary changes. The Original and Best Walking Tours is not responsible for additional expenses that may be incurred by a client in relation to a cancelled tour, that is  flights, hotels etc.

 Refunds on any unused services (No Shows)

 We cannot refund a client for services that are not utilized

Sound Systems
If provided with a sound system for a tour it must be returned in good condition or you will be charged for the loss or damage.

Privacy, Recording and Reporting

All rights reserved by our company, services provided to bona fide clients only. Any reporting or recording of tours and or services must have prior written permission

 Travel Insurance (recommended)

 We strongly recommend that you arrange travel insurance for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances or those beyond your control. We recommend medical and personal insurance to cover medical expenses and loss of baggage or personal belongings.

 Disputes Governed by Italian Courts

Contracts with The Original and Best Walking Tours are governed by Italian law and in case of dispute; jurisdiction is conferred on Italian courts. In the case of a dispute, notice must be provided in writing within seven days of the date of service provided.
