One of Florence’s lesser known museums, it is also one of its most important. The Bargello, the structure itself built as a fortress in the 13th century, is home to Italy’s largest collection of Tuscan Renaissance sculpture.

Opening Hours: Monday- Sunday, 8:15 am- 1:30 pm; Closed 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday and 2nd and 4th Monday of each month; Also closed January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1 and December 25
Costs: Entrance fee to be paid in cash when picking up the reserved tickets
