My Prestigious Masterpieces of Vatican City Tour

from € 70,00

Experience the exquisite highlights of the Vatican Museum.
A world famous collection of masterpieces explored with a great tour guide!

This small-group Vatican tour provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's. The Vatican is one of the world’s greatest museums. It holds within its walls and halls the greatest homage to Western Civilization in a single complex. As well as pre dating most contemporary museums by centuries it houses some of the world’s finest examples of art and architecture.

Be warned, the Vatican collection is vast and overwhelming - so a great tour guide is essential to navigate the more than four miles of treasures displayed inside the Vatican.

This entertaining tour focuses on the absolute must-sees and famous masterpieces of the Vatican, including the Sistine Chapel ceiling by Michelangelo and the Raphael rooms. Also experience the most magnificent church on earth - St Peter's - before ending in superb square designed by Bernini.

Highlights: Michelangelo’s Dome, Pine-cone Courtyard (Cortile della Pigna), Chiaramonti Collection, Pio-Clementino Collection, Stanza Rotonda, Stanza della Croce Greca, Bramante’s Triple Gallery, Raphael's Rooms, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square.
