Included in the tour price: 5-6 hour tour in English with a bi-lingual bike tour guide, quality hybrid bikes, helmets, traditional Tuscan lunch, Tuscany cellar visit wine tasting, olive oil tasting, Villa visit, vineyard and olive grove visit, bottle of water, towel, use of estate pool and change room facilities.

Excluded from the tour price: optional gratuities.

       8.45 am: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays from April 9-October 30.

Tour length: 6-7 hours, with 14 kilometres/8.6 miles of riding. 

Minimum participants: 4 persons

Weather: This tour does not run in heavy rain. Please contact us for an alternative activity. 

Technical details of the bike tour: This is a great tour for bikers who are looking to get exercise while enjoying the beautiful Tuscan countryside! This is not a tour designed for experts, however you must feel comfortable riding a bike. Because the guide keeps to the pace of the slowest in the group we have classed this ride as easy to medium at your own pace.

Terrain and conditions: Paved roads, rolling hills with one 2 kilometre uphill climb towards the beginning of the tour with rest stops. Your friendly bike tour guide is on hand to fix any flat tires!

Bikes: 21 speed bespoke hybrid mountain bikes designed specifically for riding conditions around Florence.

Please note: You need to be comfortable with riding a bike both in the historical center of Florence and on rolling country hills to do this tour. There are approximately 25 minutes of in-city bike riding (on bike paths) before heading across the River Arno into the hills. Due to the nature of the ride and the size of the bicycles, children under 12 cannot participate in this tour. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
